My Sports Pulse™ is an educational game  Each message will contain a question connecting sports to the subjects of math, science, and technology.  Students will submit their answer using their mobile technology, and have access to help with difficult questions on the My Sports Pulse™ website. Videos of popular athletes will be delivered throughout the program to ask questions and provide knowledge, boosting student interest and investment in the program.  Students who answer questions correctly will receive rewards such as additional minutes, games, and ring tones. A Scoring system is implemented to create competition, add motivation, and reward students for doing well. Scores of each student will be tracked throughout the program, and interim and overall winners will be announced through the program website.

The purpose of the My Sports Pulse™ program is to encourage an interest in learning for K-12 students in the fields of science, mathematics, and technology.  My Sports Pulse™ was made possible through grants and investments of the Ewing Marion Kauffman foundation, a foundation with the specific interest in improving education both in and out of the classroom.  The Pilot phase running this fall has been developed by the Kauffman Foundation in collaboration with the University of Central Florida (UCF), the Higher Colleges of Technology in the UAE, and Växjö University in Sweden.

The  pilot phase for fall 2007 will include approximately 12 schools, in five or more locations across the world, including Kansas City, Missouri; Orlando, Florida; Växjö, Sweden; the United Arab Emirates; Kampala, Uganda; Singapore; and possibly Sydney, Australia and Argentina.
