Contest Terms & Conditions
In order to provide a fair chance of winning to all My Sports Pulse participants, the following Terms and Conditions will apply to all My Sports Pulse contests.
NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. ALL U.S. FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
Children aged 13 and older are eligible to participate in the My Sports Pulse contest. Those under the age of 13 may only participate with the permission of a parent or guardian.
Entering Contests, Judging, and Selecting Winners:
Contestant must register with the correct e-mail address, and any other specific entry information requested in the contest announcement. My Sports Pulse is not responsible for, and will not consider, incomplete, or incorrect entries, or messages sent but not received by My Sports Pulse for any reason, as potential winners.
Only one entry per person is allowed. The My Sports Pulse administration reserves the right to deny awarding any prize to any contestant and/or terminate the suspect account/s if any contestant makes attempts to perform, but is not limited to the following activities: unlawfully access the My Sports Pulse game system and/or take advantage as well as cheat against the game rules. E-mail addresses are the primary method of restricting multiple entries. No person may enter any contest more than once using multiple e-mail addresses. If any person is found to have intentionally created multiple accounts all suspect accounts will be disqualified from receiving any prize and/or terminated as deemed necessary by the My Sports Pulse administration.
Winners of the My Sports Pulse contest will be selected by judges. The decision of the judges is final. The judges will determine the winners based on the number, accuracy, and timeliness of the contestants’ responses to the questions. In the event of a tie, the winner will be selected based on the timeliness of response.
Winners of all contests will be contacted at the “sender” e-mail address used to enter the contest, and the person receiving and replying to the winner announcement e-mail will be considered the winner unless they specify another person within the reply e-mail as the winner. My Sports Pulse will mail the contest prize to the address supplied by the recipient of the winner announcement e-mail.
Claiming of prizes requires a response to My Sports Pulse from the winning sender e-mail address within 30 days of being notified of winning at the e-mail address used to enter. Failure to respond shall mean that the winner forfeits the prize. My Sports Pulse is not required to award elsewhere any prizes forfeited by the chosen winner(s).
Prizes:
Grand Prize: (1) Best Buy Gift Card valued at $275.
Contest Period:
The contest will run from April 30, 2010 – May 31, 2010.
Publicity:
Participation requires consent to use of the winner’s name, likeness, and address (city, state) for promotional purposes in any media worldwide (including, but not limited to, Internet, television, and magazines) without further compensation or consideration.
Awarding Prizes:
Winners will be contacted via e-mail on or after June 15, 2010.
Winners may not request substitutions of prize winnings. All winners and/or parent or guardian of winners are solely responsible for any and all taxes and/or fees, and all such additional costs that may be incurred.
Winners will be selected at noon on June 15, 2010 at the University of Central Florida, Partnership 2 Building.
Neither My Sports Pulse or our sponsors, nor employees of My Sports Pulse or sponsors may be held liable for any warranty, costs, damage, injury, or any other claims incurred as a result of usage of any winners of a prize once possession has been taken of the product by winner. My Sports Pulse is not liable for any loss arising out of or in connection with or resulting from any contest promoted by My Sports Pulse.
If the specified prize becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, My Sports Pulse may substitute a prize of like or equal value.
Management, employees, and family members of My Sports Pulse employees and sponsors are prohibited from winning any prizes awarded by My Sports Pulse.
Winners under the age of 18 can only receive prizes with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Contest winners are ineligible for any prize for a period of no less than 1 year from the date the prize was awarded.
